Glossop's Halls
Glossop has a number of fine public buildings rich in historical and architectural significance. These landmark buildings: the Town Hall, Market Hall, Municipal Buildings are all owned by High Peak Borough Council and, in the case of Victoria Hall, held in trust.
We know these buildings matter to local people because you told us so when we asked for your views as part of the Glossop Design and Place Making Strategy. In line with your comments, the strategy says that the buildings should be kept for public use, with the focus on public services and shopping.
