Buxton and Leek College

2 vacancies for Business Studies

The successful candidates will assist the council with all aspects of administration to ensure smooth running of the services for users. This role will be based in departments across the Leek and Buxton offices to gain a broad knowledge of the organisation.

1 vacancy in Customer Services

The successful candidate will be the face of the organisation providing excellent customer service, striving to exceed the expectation of the service user. You will also gain experience in the back office roles within this service across the Leek and Buxton offices.

Tameside College

Level two apprenticeship in Plumbing

Duties will include assisting the plumber in ensuring that all work meets the required performance targets and standards,  give an excellent personal customer service whilst helping to ensure prompt work of the required standard, learn how to complete job sheets and maintain other records as required, learn how to complete appropriate plumbing installation and safety checks and issue appropriate certification, work in accordance with the requirements of safe systems of work ensuring all work is carried out safely and presents no risks to self or customers or colleagues, learn how to operate light machinery, plant and powered hand tools in accordance with recognised safety procedures.

Level 2 Apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery
