D2 Energy Efficiency

D2 Energy Efficiency provides energy audits and grants for SMEs in Derbyshire to help pay for measures that reduce energy use, for example. improved lighting, insulation, more efficient process equipment, renewable energy.

How does D2 Energy Efficiency work?
1. Visit  to your business and adviser produces an energy audit report with recommendations to improve energy efficiency.
2.  Advisers will work with you to implement the best options for your business.
3. Subject to eligibility, your business could receive a grant of up to £15,000 grant funding to support identified recommendations (approx. 50% match funding required).

D2 Energy Efficiency  is delivered by Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council and University of Derby. The councils run the audit and grants programme while the University of Derby offers product innovation and business support to SMEs across D2N2 wanting to take a bigger role in the Low Carbon economy.
