Give your local sporting stars a chance to shine by nominating them for the High Peak Sports Awards this Christmas.
The Awards, co-ordinated by High Peak Borough Council, will take place at the newly refurbished Octagon at Buxton's Pavilion Gardens in February next year and the nominations are now open.
With awards for individuals, teams, coaches and volunteers who live, study or work in the Borough there's a category to recognise sporting achievement across the spectrum.
Anyone can make a nomination and the closing date is 6 January 2019.
Council Leader, Councillor Tony Ashton, said: "Sport unites people - whether as participants or spectators - and here in the High Peak we have our own sporting success stories to celebrate.
"There's always lots to do it the run up to Christmas but the deadline is fast approaching so please make sure your favourites don't miss out by submitting your nominations now."
