Register as a priority customer with your utility supplier

By registering as a priority customer it means should a loss of supply occur then customers will be contacted to ensure they are safe.

The customer may be given additional portable heating or bottled water delivered directly to them rather than having to go to a collection point.

Vulnerable customers include anyone of state pension age and people with specific medical needs.

For Gas it will be whichever company you choose for your supplier to be  i.e. British Gas./Scottish Power/E-On etc.
