Senior Land and Commercial Officer

 

Salary: £35,934- £42,683 per annum

Plus essential car user allowance

Permanent

Full time.

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Land and Commercial Officer within our Asset Management Team. The Alliance has a significant and varied assets portfolio including public buildings, open space, residential dwellings, development land and a commercial investment property across both Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and High Peak Borough Councils. The Assets Team is responsible for the property stock and we are looking for an experienced person to work within a multi-disciplined team with a focus on proactive estate management.

The successful candidate should have detailed knowledge of managing a large diverse corporate estate from either a private or public sector background. Ideally the candidate should hold a membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or be working towards membership. They should have up to date knowledge of best practice and statutory obligations in relation to the disposal, acquisition and management of land and property. An understanding of what represents good performance and enhancing value in the management of land and property holdings is vital for the position.

 

To be suitable for the role the ideal person will be driven to deliver high quality property advice services to both internal and external customers and have a positive attitude even when under pressure to meet tight deadlines. They should be a team player with the ability to take the lead in tough negotiations, problem solve and motivate colleagues.

Driving licence is essential.
