You should have received a registration form for your address. You should return this form in the pre-paid envelope.
If there are no changes to the information on the form, you can use the simple and secure telephone or internet registration form. Details of how to do this are on the form. If you have not received a form, you can download a copy here (1.3MB)
.
You should send this back to us, by post, to High Peak Borough Council, Council Offices, Hayfield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak, SK23 0QJ. We are sorry but we cannot accept electronic versions of the form.
Some people may have not completed their registration because they are worried that their details may be sold by the Council to companies to use for marketing purposes. You can easily make sure that this does not happen.
There are two versions of the register. The full version includes everyone who is registered to vote. This is very strictly controlled and can only be used for the purposes set down in law.
The second version of the register is called the edited register. The Council has to make this version available for sale for any purpose. However, If you do not want your details to appear on this version, all you have to do is tick the appropriate box.
