Street Games is an initiative set up by High Peak Borough Council, Safer Communities Through Sport Project and High Peak Community Safety Partnership, working in partnership with Derbyshire County Council Youth Service, and delivered by our partner, Peak Active Sport (external website**).
Street Games aims to increase participation in sport and active recreation by engaging with young people in the places where they like to spend their spare time.
Professional coaches will work with all young people, male and female, aged 10 to 18, to organise a wide range of activities that may include football, basketball, netball, kwik cricket and street hockey. If you would like to take part in a different sport, the coaches will be more than happy to accommodate you.
