We work hard to improve the quality of life in the High Peak and support regeneration through partnership work, and provide information on these key partnerships and projects being delivered in the High Peak.
We support local businesses and how we involve business in regeneration of towns and parishes.
The Derbyshire Dales and High Peak Local Strategic Partnership, for the area, has agreed priorities, which reflect community needs and aspirations. This partnership includes a wide range of agencies and organisations from the public, private, and voluntary and community sectors. The partnership has already produced and monitors a Community Strategy, setting out the strategic vision and action plans for the social, economic and environmental well-being of the High Peak, after extensive consultation about your needs and priorities.
Through our partnership, we lobby the Government, European Union and major funding bodies to increase available funds for projects within the High Peak. We also support projects within Council co-ordinated programmes that require a helping hand. We have a Regeneration Strategy, setting out a strategic path for economic and physical regeneration, supporting all neighbourhoods in the area. The development and delivery of this strategy is assisted by five town centre partnerships.
