High Peak Borough Council Grant Schemes

High Peak Borough Council offers a number of grant schemes that are available to sports clubs, voluntary organisations and community groups, including:

The Community Fund

This is a grant scheme available to voluntary organisations and community groups who provide services, facilities and activities to improve the quality of life for residents of the High Peak. The Community Fund Small Grants Pot’ is available for organisations to apply for funding from Monday 29 June 2009 until Friday 31 July 2009.

Please read the Community Fund policy document for guidance on how to fill in the application form. Grants from the Small Grants Pot will normally be up to a maximum of £500. Organisations can apply online, or download and return a completed application form. All submitted forms will be acknowledged within 14 days.

Leadership in sport and recreation scholarship grants

These grants are to provide support to volunteers, who either live in the High Peak, or do voluntary work in the Borough, to enter into leadership for the first time, or to develop skills of existing leaders so they can broaden their skills, or progress up the coaching pathway.

Sports development grants

These are to provide support to schools, clubs and voluntary organisations in the High Peak, in order to develop sport and recreation opportunities. Details of these schemes, and how to apply for them, are found in the Sports Development Grant Schemes section.
