Vision Buxton

Background

Vision Buxton was formed in November 2005, after the merger of the Buxton Business Forum and the Buxton Partnership. Vision Buxton now represents 150 members or organisations who employ nearly 5000 people within the Buxton area.
Vision Buxton’s objectives include:

• Working towards the needs and ambitions of businesses and organisations;
• Identifying improvements to the town and developing implementation strategies;
• Improving Buxton’s reputation, both locally, regionally and nationally;
• Strengthening the economy of Buxton and surrounding area;
• Improving communication between the public sector, local businesses and community organisations;
• Offering support to businesses and the local community;
• Attracting investment and funding for the town; and
• Delivering high quality services and standards.

Vision Buxton is a membership organisation that brings together local community groups and businesses who are all passionate about making Buxton an even better place to live, work and play.
