Mrs J Walsh of Gamesley is the lucky winner of the November Shop Local prize draw in Glossop.
Mrs Walsh will receive a cheque for £50 for using her Shop Local passport whilst she shopped in the Borough.
The Shop Local passport scheme, which started in October, is open to all residents over 16 across the High Peak. Residents can pick up their 'passports' at participating retailers who display stickers in the shop window. Each time they buy something, customers will receive a sticker, regardless of the amount spent. When one of the sections on the passport has been completed, it can be handed in or posted to Glossop Municipal Buildings for the monthly draw.
The December draw will take place on Friday 21 December at 3 pm.
Councillor Tony Kemp, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Regeneration, said: "You can help to support local businesses and win prizes by doing your Christmas shopping locally! Collect your stickers between Christmas and the New Year for entry into the January draw."
The prize draws are a short-term programme, ending in March 2008, to reward and encourage residents who shop local. Passports can be collected from Glossop Municipal Buildings.
