GLOSSOP Leisure Centre will resemble a scene from High School Musical when it starts playing host to cheerleading classes.
Staged by Glossop Gymnastics Club in partnership with High Peak Borough Council and DC Leisure, the exciting new activity kicks off on Monday, June 1 from 5pm to 6pm, and will then continue each Monday.
Suitable for boys and girls of all abilities, the training will be provided by a Level 3-qualified cheerleading coach.
Said DC Leisure marketing manager Aidan Hall: "Cheerleading is great fun and an excellent way to keep fit. I would urge parents to book now to reserve their child's place as numbers are limited".
The eight-week course costs £25.20 for Gymnastics Club members or £28 otherwise.
