Anyone taking out a year's membership of Glossop or New Mills Leisure Centre gyms this month (February) will get three months for free.
The unmissable offer from High Peak Borough Council and DC Leisure means that new members of the Kinetika gyms will join for 12 months but only pay for nine.
What is more, Kinetika membership allows unlimited use of the swimming pools and exercise classes.
All new members are introduced to the facilities through a Kinetika Journey programme which includes five free one-to-one sessions with a fitness instructor and a personalised workout programme.
Said DC Leisure fitness manager Lee Forsyth: "First and foremost, we make sure that everyone can use the equipment safely and correctly but we also want to help our members get the most from their visits and ensure that they achieve their desired results.
"Our team of fitness experts is always on hand to provide advice on training and trying different activities. There are also regular programme reviews to ensure customers are making progress and staying motivated", he explained.
Said Andrew Bingham, Executive Councillor for Social and Community Development: "We're committed to working with DC Leisure and other partners to promote healthy lifestyles. Gym membership is an excellent way to keep in shape and make new friends. However, membership can be quite expensive, which is why we're giving away the first three months to anyone enrolling this month".
The offer runs until Sunday 28 February. For more information, call Glossop Leisure Centre on (01457) 842272 or New Mills Leisure Centre on (01663) 748842. Alternatively, prospective members can visit www.highpeak.gov.uk/leisure.
DC Leisure runs High Peak's leisure centres for the council.
