Making A Payment

Detailed below are the various methods of payment. However, the Council's preferred method of payment is Direct Debit.

Online Please note that from the 1st April 2010 there will be a £2.50 charge for all payments made by Credit Card.
(this charge will not apply to Housing Rent Payments)

Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) for a Car Parking Contravention (External website**)

Order a new black or green bin
Request a bulky collection
Request a collection of a fridge or other large electrical item
Request a pest control treatment
Over the Phone Payment can be made via an automated 24 hour payment line -
please ring 0845 129 8117 and follow the instructions given.
Cash Making a cash payment

At the Bank Payments can be made at branches of the NatWest Bank in the High Peak. You will need to use their paying-in slips.
From 1 April 2010, NatWest will charge £10.00 for each payment.
By Post Cheques should be made payable to “High Peak Borough Council” and posted to
High Peak Borough Council, Admail 3843, Buxton, SK17 6WD.
Please write your account number on the reverse of your cheque. Post-dated cheques cannot be accepted.

Whatever method you decide to use please remember that payments must be made by or on the due dates shown on the Bill / Special Payment Arrangement letter. Failure to pay as required will lead to the loss of instalment facility and the full balance becoming payable.
