Black bins
Little Hayfield - Clough Lane, Slacks Lane (leading to Primrose Lane) and Lanehead Road
Rural areas of Glossop - Chapel Brow, Charles Lane, Howard Close, Lower Dinting, Ashes Lane, Unnamed road from Padfield, Unnamed road from Crowden, Woodhead Road, Woodhead Road to Crowden, Section of Arnfield Way

Tuesday 16 January

Snow and icy road conditions prevented black / green collections from 3 properties in Buxton Road, Castleton.  Weather permitting we will visit again over the next few days.

Contents frozen inside bins
During cold weather the contents of bins sometimes freezes inside and does not all come out when we tip the bin. This is most common with green lidded bins because garden and food waste has a high moisture content and freezes easily.

We don't come back when we have tried to empty the bin but not all the contents have tipped out.

Additional material for recycling
If you have additional recycling please leave it next to your brown bin in a cardboard box or untied carrier bags so we can clearly see the material is recycling.  Black sacks or tied bags will not be taken.
