If you are already registered to vote or applied to register to vote before the deadline for the 4 May local elections, you do not need to re-register to vote.

To check if you are already registered or to let us know about a change in your circumstances please ring our elections team on 0345 129 4851.

If you are not registered to vote, you will need to register to vote by Monday 22nd May to vote at the UK general election.

You can register to vote online at gov.uk/register-to-vote.

Postal Votes

If you wish to have a postal vote your application to vote by post must be received by 5pm on 23rd May 2017.

Proxy Votes

If you can't attend the polling station you may be able to apply for a proxy vote up until 5pm on 31st May 2017. You will need to state the reason why you can't attend the polling station on the form.
