Bulky & Electrical Collection in Partnership with Project Unity

We're working in partnership with Alliance Environmental Service to offer a one off FREE bulky waste collection of up to 5 large household items for residents in Fairfield.

Who is eligible for a collection?

This service is being funded by Project Unity which serves residents who live in Fairfield, Buxton. To receive this free collection, you must live within Fairfield.

What can I have collected?

We can collect a number of different household items. To see what we collect, please check the item A-Z below.

We cannot collect items that contain or are made of glass. If items are presented for collection and are not booked in, we will be unable to take them away.

How many items can I have collected?

The collections are restricted to 1 booking per address with a maximum of 5 items.

Where should I put my items for collection?

Items will need to be presented for collection outside, either at your bin collection point or assessable from the roadside. We cannot enter a property to remove items.

When will my items be collected?

Your items will be collected between the dates of 17th and 28th February. A more accurate date will be allocated to you once you prior to your collection. If you book a mixture of electrical and non-electrical items they may be collected on different days within the 2-week period.

Can I have small electricals collected?

If you have any small electrical items, we can collect these for free, however they need to be booked in using an alternative service. Please follow the link below to find out more information about our free small electrical collection service.
