Feedback sought on Buxton's annual fun fair
Buxton's fun fair has been an integral part of the town's summer carnival for over thirty years now and the Council wants to hear what local people think of this colourful annual spectacle.
High Peak Borough Council is asking people to share their thoughts about the fair as it makes plans for improving the carnival experience to attract even more people in future years.
Councillor Tony Kemp, Executive Councillor for Tourism and Regeneration, said: "The fun fair has been part of the well dressing and carnival celebrations for decades now and is an aspect of the summer festival that residents and businesses across the town will be familiar with.
"We're looking at how we can better plan our activities in future years to make sure this annual July event continues to appeal to a wide breadth of locals and visitors and to maximise the opportunities it presents to benefit our local economy.
"As part of that we're now asking local people and businesses to tell us what they think about the fun fair by completing a short online survey on our website. I'd encourage people to get involved and will look forward to listening to what you all have to say."
