Three and seven day rover pass

The aim of the Rover Pass will be to provide a convenient and flexible way of using the Council's car parks without the need to buy pay and display tickets.

Normal maximum stay periods and rules on car parks will still apply but customers will have the freedom to use the car parks, with no limit on the number of times during the three or seven consecutive day period.

Terms of Use

The general terms of use of the Rover Passes are shown below. This information is also printed on the back of the pass;

  • The pass can be used for parking on High Peak Borough Council operated (off-street) car parks only and does not permit parking on-street
  • The vehicle registration should be clearly written in the relevant box
  • The pass must be clearly displayed on the vehicle's dashboard
  • Normal maximum stay limits apply and always check for local events that may be taking place, i.e. Markets
  • The vehicle must park in a marked car parking bay
  • Use of disabled bays is for Blue Badge holders only
  • This pass does not guarantee the user a parking space and parking is always subject to availability
  • All other car park regulations apply

How to get one

You can buy Rover Passes using one of the following methods:

1.    Online - allowing 5 working days for the pass to be posted out.

2.    Passes can be purchased from Buxton Tourist Information Centre.

Price of passes;

  • £20 for the 7-day Rover Pass
  • £10 for the 3-day Rover Pass       

When using the Rover Pass your vehicle registration number should be clearly written in the box provided. Customers should then scratch off the first day of use, date, month and year from the front of the pass which is then live for the relevant number of consecutive - three or seven - days. If more than one date is scratched off the pass will become invalid.
