Burial records are public information

The burial registers for our 4 cemeteries can be viewed in the downloads section of this page - you can search by surname, date or grave number.

Contact us if you need assistance locating a grave, we may be able to send you more detailed grave records or location plans (please note this is a chargeable service starting at £27 per half hour).

If the grave you are searching for is in a churchyard, you should contact the church in the first instance.

 Derbyshire County Council's Registration service (opens new window) may be able to assist with copies of death certificates.
