Nature and Biodiversity

The High Peak Borough Council: A Plan for Nature provides a review of the existing state of nature within the High Peak and recommends how and where nature recovery efforts should be prioritised.

The plan has been developed in collaboration with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust with input from various stakeholders along the way, including engagement with local biodiversity groups.

The plan will form the basis of a formal biodiversity strategy and action plan for the Council, and feed into Derbyshire County Council's Local Nature Recovery Strategy.
