Assets Support Officer

Assets Support Officer

Permanent Contract

Salary: £24,790- £26,409 per annum,

Full time (37 hours per week)

Work base: Leek and Buxton, will be expected to travel. Hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Council's Asset Management Team for an enthusiastic individual to support an busy property team and to get involved in all aspects of the service.

You would be responsible for supporting officers across the team ensuring that the customer is at the heart of what we do by receiving internal and external customer enquiries, prioritising and responding to them in a timely manner. You will be updating records in a variety of formats, dealing with paperwork and documents, utilising excel and bespoke software systems in relation to property assets. We are looking for someone who will take the initiative, tackling issues head on with determination to find solutions, but be sensitive to the policies and procedures of the local authority.

To be successful in the role you will be organised, motivated and a team player. You will be happy communicating with all types of customers, and have the ability to "manage up", supporting the other members of the team, supporting their delivery of the service.
