Job: HGV Driver / Loader
Contract: Permanent x 2 posts
Location: High Peak - Glossop
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £29,552.95 per annum
Alliance Environmental Services Ltd are looking to recruit 2 HGV Driver / Loaders who enjoy working as part of a team and posses a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team. We are looking for people who will be committed to providing an effective frontline service to the residents of High Peak by providing an effective waste collection service in a courteous, safe and efficient manner in line with A.E.S's policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices.
As a professional Driver / Loader, you will assist in the provision of A.E.S's waste & recycling service by:
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks, reporting defects and cleaning your vehicle regularly.
- Providing an effective collection of waste using wheeled bins, sacks or other collection systems.
- Contribute to the completion of the service's allocated work by supervising your crew effectively and assisting with the waste collection.
- Ensure that missed collections are rectified, assisted collections are completed and bins are returned back in the correct location after emptying.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner following A.E.S's policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe working practices.

Job: Semi Skilled Operative / Sweeper Driver - Streets
Contract: Permanent
Location: High Peak (Buxton)
Hours: Average 40 hours per week
Salary: £12.18 Per Hour
Alliance Environmental Services Ltd are looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Operative / Sweeper Driver, who enjoys working as part of a team and possess a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team of Street Cleansing operatives in the High Peak
The role involves a range of street cleansing operations from litter picking and emptying of bins to the driving of a street sweeper. This role will include working weekends on a rota and may include occasional out of hours work. A full driving C1 7.5 tonne licence and CPC qualification is required however training can be given on CPC.

Contract: Permanent x2 posts
Location: Buxton, High Peak
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,404.06 per annum FTE
Alliance Environmental Services Ltd are looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Operative who enjoy working as part of a team and possess a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to assist with general grounds maintenance activities throughout the High Peak area but based from the Silverlands depot in Buxton.
We would encourage applicants who have experience in the following areas:
· Grass Cutting (Using both pedestrian and ride on mowers)
· Strimming
· Shrub and rose bed maintenance
· Hedge Cutting
· Pruning
· Cemetery works
Applicants must have a full driving licence. A relevant grounds maintenance qualification would be desirable. It is essential that applicants are prepared to work outside in all weathers, be flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team or with minimum supervision.
