Job:                Grounds Maintenance Operative

Contract:      Seasonal contracts

Location:      High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands

Hours:           40 hours per week with overtime required

Salary:           £11.98 per hour

Alliance Environmental Services Ltd is looking to recruit a number of seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives who enjoy working as part of a team and possess a flexible attitude that will compliment the existing team.  We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to assist with general grounds maintenance activities throughout the High Peak and Staffordshire Moorlands areas.  We have a number of positions working in the following areas:

Glossop

New Mills, Buxton

Leek

We would encourage applicants who have experience in the following areas:

·         Grass Cutting (Using petrol driven pedestrian mowers/Using ride on mowers)

·         Strimming

·         Shrub and rose bed maintenance

·         Hedge Cutting

·         Pruning

Applicants must have a driving licence.  A relevant grounds maintenance qualification would be desirable.  It is essential that applicants are prepared to work outside in all weathers, be flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team or with minimum supervision.
