Pay your business rates online or set up a direct debit

You can pay in many ways including online, Direct Debit or by phone

Pay by Direct Debit

Paying by Direct Debit is the easiest and most secure way of paying your bill. You can choose to pay on the 1st, 15th or 30th of each month, over 10 or 12 instalments dependant on the number of months remaining in the financial year.

Online

Paying online is easy and secure.  We accept all major credit and bank cards.

You will need your business rates account number which you will find on your bill.

By phone

You can make payment using all major credit and debit cards by phoning our 24 hour automated payment line 0300 456 0625.

By BACS

If you wish to pay your business rates by BACS you will need the following information:

Account number 10567828

Sort code 60-04-18

You must put your full name and business rates account number as reference or we won't know who the payment has come from and your account won't reflect your true balance.

Making cash payments (via a payment card)

We provide a plastic payment card for making payment at any Post Office or specified PayPoint outlets. Cash cannot be accepted at council offices.
