Commercial nuisance (smoke, light, fumes, odours)
We can investigate the cause of some types of 'nuisance' caused by commercial premises.
Our responsibilities
We have a duty to investigate 'statutory' nuisance. This means that any complaints must be severe or regular problems which interfere substantially with your well being, comfort and enjoyment of your property.

Types of nuisance we can investigate include:
- waste building up at a business premise
- chemical fumes
- foul smells
- light pollution
- smoke pollution
If your problem relates to any other type of nuisance, you'll need to seek legal advice.
